AEC-21Y-G1 Introduction
IVY Metering has launched a new AC charging controller that comes with more functions to enhance user experience. The new EV Charger combines all of the control and monitoring functions essential for the charging process in one compact housing.
The IEC61851 Mode 3 EV Charger Controller (AEC-21Y-G1) designed to provide all of the required control functions for EV charging. The AEC-21Y-G1 can be integrated into OEM Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) for Mode 3 chargers, e.g. Charging Stations or charging units. The AEC-21Y-G1 includes control pilot function for communication with the EV, continuous monitoring of the charging current, 6mA DC fault current detection, and energy monitoring. The AEC-21Y-G1 can be configured to suit different charger needs. The system can work with single phase or three phase systems up to 32A.
